It is an audiovisual project of live cinema or expanded cinema.
We use the myth of Persephone to explore the four seasons and their symbolism. Persephone ate a pomegranate and was therefore condemned to a kind of shared custody between the magma of Hades' realm and the flower of Demeter, goddess of agriculture.
In the absence of her daughter Persephone, Demeter languished, and the earth with her, shedding its leaves, emptying itself until spring, when the daughter returned from the underworld.
Granada, flower and magma is a live and circular show where we intervene on analog film material and our own sound archive, generating a dialogue between visual and sound narrative that allows us to reflect on the different cycles and moods that we go through throughout life.
